MILESTONES

Early 2025

The Spark

Visited Gulmarg as a spectator. Witnessed ski mountaineering for the first time and knew this was his calling.

January 2025

Training Begins

Started intensive endurance training for ski mountaineering — just 2 months before his first competition.

March 2025

First Competition, First Gold

Debuted at Khelo India Winter Games in Gulmarg. Won Gold in Vertical and Silver in Sprint — the only athlete from Maharashtra.

February 2026

Back on the Podium

Returned to KIWG 2026. Clinched two Silver medals in Vertical (4:09.80) and Sprint (2:53.75), proving consistency.

March 2026

India's Historic International Debut

Represented India at ISMF Asian Ski Mountaineering Championships in Yabuli, China. Finished 7th — part of India's first-ever triple top-10 at continental level.
